Kenneth Mata

Kenneth is one of the latest additions to Studio Tim Campbell with over 8 years of work experiences in the Middle East and the United States from an array of architectural and planning project types. Before emigrating to the United States from Caracas, Venezuela, his interest in making for living and dwelling started at an early age. Influenced by his grandfather while spending time in his woodshop, awaken the idea of creating and communicating people's needs through physical materials.

Kenneth’s passion for the architectural profession has allowed him to acquire multiple professional degrees while practicing architecture. He received his Bachelors of Architecture degree from Florida International University, Miami FL in 2002. Soon after he embarked on extensive experiences overseas. He later received his Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis in 2013, where he was awarded a scholarship to pursue and further expand his interests leading him to acquire a Masters of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University, New York in 2014. Kenneth is also an associate member of the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter. He dedicates his accomplishments to his beloved parents, sisters, and beautiful nephew.

Kenneth’s perpetual goals are to keep abreast opportunities encountered through practice and research that allow us to improve the way we live and dwell while experiencing tectonics and design that helps us address future social needs.
